Each piece of furniture I create is inspired by the natural beauty and intrinsic values of the raw wood from which it’s made. I enjoy incorporating woods that complement one another, utilizing grain pattern, wood color, and texture to accentuate each piece. Along with wood selection, the defining elements of my design approach include subtle curves, embellished joinery, meaningful use, and structural integrity. I’m committed to the lifelong study of the art, science, and tradition of fine furniture-making and take pride in creating art that is pleasing to the eye, functional, and of the highest quality to be enjoyed for generations.
